Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Vitez (the "Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Vitez is a non-custodial software interface that helps creators and subscribers interact with the on-chain SubscriptionRegistry smart contract deployed on Base. All payments are settled directly between subscriber wallets and creator wallets via the contract. Vitez does not custody user funds.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering binding contracts. The Service is not available to users in jurisdictions where its use is prohibited by law.

4. Wallets and on-chain transactions

You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, and recovery phrases. On-chain transactions are irreversible: once a payment settles, Vitez cannot refund or reverse it.

5. Fees

The protocol fee charged at each billing pull is set on-chain in the contract and may be updated by the contract owner subject to the immutable cap. The current fee is displayed at checkout. You agree to pay the fee shown at the time of subscribe/renewal.

6. Creator content

Creators are independently responsible for the content, services, and access they provide to subscribers. Vitez does not verify, endorse, or warrant creator content and is not a party to the agreement between a creator and a subscriber.

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
Distribute malware or interfere with the Service's operation.
Engage in market manipulation, money laundering, or fraud.
Circumvent technical access controls.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Vitez does not warrant uninterrupted availability, freedom from defects, or that any specific result will be achieved.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vitez and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Aggregate liability is limited to the platform fees Vitez collected from you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via the Service. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
